Well, it's been a good while since I have written a blog. I have been keeping busy, and maybe that is why I haven't written in so long. Also, I have been extremely tired, my homework gets the best of me, and when I'm not looking at a computer screen due to hw, I would rather not look at one at all. Well I guess I should try to update as best as possible.
Im in the process of going back to my natural color before baby gets here. I have gone 3 times so far, and this time when I go in on friday, will be my last time going :) It's almost there, I'm just happy to finally be done with my black hair.
A week or so ago, I went to sonic, backed out of the car stall and heard a loud scraping and scratching. Come to find, my front drivers side fender and bumper was all scratched and dented. There was a huge piece of rusted metal hanging off the pole that holds the menu, and It cost me $642.00 with tax to get it fixed. But I got my goldie locks back today, and she is as good as new!
I have decided to take the summer semester off for when baby jonathan comes. It will be easier. And if I am going to take time off, I better do it while the hubby is still away and we are getting extra pay, even though we really do not need the extra pay, it's just safer this way. Some people will look down on me for taking a break, but it is what I and Jonathan feel is best, and it keeps me from worrying about failing or something cause I know I will lose a lot of sleep. So I will resume college in the fall, which will start back up in Oct. It is better this way anyhow because for the last year, I have been doing hw constantly and it has felt like a full time job, and I am so ready for a break anyhow. With this time off I'll be focusing on taking care of my little ones and keeping them happy, healthy babies! There is nothing more important than that when baby jonathan comes. I'll need all the time in the world to dedicate to my kids, and I don't want to have too much on my plate. Just looking out for myself.
I am not sure if I have said this in previous posts or not, but Jonathan and I have decided, if he gets the granted leave, we will be paying for a ticket for him to come home for the birth. He will only get about 3 1/2 days, but that is so much better than nothing, granted he missed jaylea's birth as well. The military sure does mess with your life, but all you can do is accept it and move forward.
April 18th was jonathan and mine's two year wedding anniversary! So happy we made it another year, but we pry won't ever have a problem making it, as we have been together for 5 years this june, and we have been through a lot together :). We have always stuck together, and after 5 years, I am still so in love with him :).
Life is okay right now. However, time is slowing down. I'm 23 weeks today. I have 17 to go, or 16 if jon comes home and they induce me. Whichever way you look at it, I still have a little time left, and I just wish it would pick up a little more. Times have gotten tough, but jaylea and I are okay, and that is the most important. This deployment, for some odd reason, is much harder than the last... and he was in iraq and afghanistan the last deployment. But somehow, this one is harder. Not sure. I've been lost a few times already.
My Spring B session starts on sunday, I just finished my last final for Spring A session last night. So this is the last 8 weeks before I take the summer semester off. I have to say, I'm looking forward to a break, I really am.
But I think I have caughte everyone up enough... at least I am sure that I have. So I'm signing off!
Don't forget where your heart really lies, even if the one who it lies with, is millions of miles, and months away.

Well crap I did it again...
I totally give up with remembering and finding time to write everynight. I feel so guilty.. and it's just a blog. It's not suppose to feel like my hw. But for some reason it does! UGH!
Anywho... yesterday, I ordered the babies bathtub, which is super cool, is has a digital thermometer, and also a clean water system so the baby is never bathed in dirty water! I also ordered my Moby Baby wrap, which is super awesome and I cannot wait to get it! Today we went to the mall with krystin, and I got a pair of camo capris for like 7 bucks, and they even have a stretchy waist band(and they aren't even technically maternity pants, love charlotte rousse)!!! I also got jaylea a shirt that says "Sorry boys, my daddy says I can't date till I'm 30!!!!!" Which is totally adorable... gotta love spencers!!! Then I got the baby a set of 4 receiving blankets, they were on sale at pennys.. originally almost 30 bucks and I got them for 8 :). I got another pair of pajama pants for 4 bucks.. they are SO freaking cute. They were originally 40!!! You can say I bargain shopped today! Then we went grocery shopping and I got a lot of food again... Now, I gotta take it easy, my pantry is over flowing... while we were at walmart I got jaylea 2 new outfits, I got her a pooh bear one that came with 3 pieces and also got her a little green and white dress. She needs more summer clothes so everytime we are out I try to get her something new so Im not spending a bunch of money at one time. And also I have more to choose from this way!
This morning I talked to jon for quite a while. He got some news on coming home for the birth... it will only consist of 4 days tops(as of right now, who knows it may change) But now he no longer needs a travel buddy, which means him coming home won't depend on someone else. Which is great! So things are looking up! Now we just have to pray that he gets the full word he is allowed. We have PLENTY of money in savings to cover the ticket and will still have a lot left over, so money is definitely not an issue. We just pray he gets the a-ok for sure to come home!!!
Other than that, things are good. And jaylea and I are just taking it day by day... however, December feels so far away. On the 6th we'll be 2 months down and we'll only have 8 months left...(ha, I say only....like thats not long, whatever) it doesn't make things any easier that there are homecoming signs out the ass all over base for all the other batallions coming home... crappy we have to deal with this till mid deployment... it's hard. It really is, if I didn't love Jon as much as I did and I hadn't been with him for so long, I would not have chosen this life for myself or our kids... but sometimes, God makes us do things that are hard. But I have always been told, If God brings you to it, he'll see you through it. And so far, he has definitely had my back this deployment. But honestly 5 years was too long of a time for us to throw away just because he decided to join the Navy. It sucks, but damnit, I love that man, and we have been there for eachother through everything. Since my sophomore year of hs, and that is a long time. Just wish this were a little easier. I will say though, I am damn proud to say I and him sacrafice our family so he can protect the country, and he makes me awfully proud. I know he is doing good over there. Well of course, he is helping build a school so the little ones over there can get a better education. :)! That is always amazing! No offence, but that is almost cooler than the SWA HUTS they built over in Iraq and Afganistan. lol! No.. it is cooler! But I am proud, and I love knowing he was man enough to serve his country. That is more than I can say for some others. I could go on for hours how proud I am, but it's bedtime for me.
Have a good night.
If I had a single flower for every time I think about you, I could walk forever in my garden.
